The faithfulness of ordinary individuals puts them in position for the miraculous. The miracle birth of Jesus depended on ordinary people being faithful in extraordinary times. 

In every generation God needs individuals who will allow the continuation of His plan to flow through them. Zacharias and Elisabeth were those kind of individuals. 

You and I were not an afterthought in God’s plan. In fact, God has intentionally designed it so that “we are labourers together with God.” God chose to need us to fulfill His purpose.
